Dick Davis |

Dick Davis has served
businesses and individuals in tax related matters for twenty five
years. He has represented clients before the IRS, the Virginia Department
of Taxation, and the United States Tax Court. Mr. Davis has significant
experience in negotiating settlements involving substantial tax
liabilities. In addition to his tax controversy work, his areas
of practice include sale of business tax planning, qualified retirement
plan design and compliance, ERISA compliance, executive compensation
planning, and estate planning. Mr. Davis has conducted continuing
education tax seminars for attorneys and certified public accountants
and has written articles on ERISA, qualified retirement plans, and
tax related matters affecting both businesses and individuals.

Nancy Arthur

Nancy Arthur is a
paralegal who has worked in retirement plan administration for over
19 years. 13 of these years have been with Mr. Davis. They worked
together for 12 years at Williams Mullen, Virginia’s 3rd largest
law firm, and now, at Tax Counsel, Ltd., Mr. Davis and Ms. Arthur
continue to serve plans and plan sponsors at very competitive rates.
These services include plan design, plan asset valuations, discrimination
testing (401(k) and otherwise), and annual IRS/DOL reporting (Form
5500).
